GABE HAYES is an artist who specializes in character design and illustration with a strong focus on storytelling. Along with drawing and painting character concepts and illustrations, Gabe is experienced in a wide range of artistic styles and media including pixel art for video games, 2D hand-drawn animation, comic book illustration, and graphic design.

GABE is a recent graduate of Penn State with a degree in Letters, Arts, and Sciences (LAS) - a customized, multidisciplinary major centered on a unique theme. Gabe's LAS theme was "Artistic Storytelling through Digital Media" and his degree is comprised of Visual Arts, English, and Information Science experience. Before becoming an LAS major, Gabe was an IST major with experience in Java programming and indie game development using Game Maker Studio. During his college career, Gabe was also a member of the Penn State Honors Program.

GABE is the creator of the "Legacy" animatic story on YouTube featured in the 2019 Undergraduate Research and Creative Activities Fair at Penn State.

 

He is also the author and illustrator of the self-published Transmission graphic novel.

GABE resides in Greenlin, located in the Craghill Cliffs.
